5/9 - Perfect Weather to Fish
Despite the BS ramp conditions and the "slightly stained" water, we had a great night to fish. 8 boats turned out to compete against their buddies taking 1 more step toward the covetted Goose Creek division angler of the year trophy. The division directors, Bob and John took the win, but the story of the evening was the weather. It turned out to be perfect conditions to catch a few fish. Reminder we are off next week and back at it on the 23rd. We are still expecting a couple more boat to join us for the remaining 3 tournaments, but if not we still have our consistent 8. If you know anyone else looking for a fun and relaxed tournament, let us know. With 3 tournaments left, they still have time to qualify for regionals. Thanks gang... See you in 2 weeks.
5/3 - Goose Creek 2024 Officially Underway
We kicked off the season tonight with a good turn out and descent weather for the first half of the evening. As usual mother nature jumped in and showed us who is boss. Despite the weather, rain and storms, we managed to get the tournament in and saw a few weigh in. John and Bobby brought in the big fish of the night @ 4.56, but only managed two other dinks. Brad and Kevin found limit of fish and took with win with Nick and Jake right on their heels.
